Philosophy of Education
In the light of Gods Word we all have been given an awesome
responsibility to educate our children with Christian principles.
As parents we will be held accountable for the education of our
children. The work first begins in the home, and then it is carried
out within the school system.
As you provide that Christ-centered environment at home, then all
your children will be taught by the Lord and great will be your
childrens peace. What a great reward!
Biblical Based Education
No book can be more important to the Christian school than the
Bible. It is the textbook for all of life; therefore, it has prime
importance as well as a 3-fold function within the school.
First, it offers the correct perspective for the entire teaching-learning
process in the school. The Bible is the standard to which all activities
in school are accountable. The pupils that attend the school must
be educated in the light of Gods Word.
Second, it is the focal point for the devotional life of the Christian
school. The Bible is central to the communal worship of the pupils
and supervisors during daily devotions, staff devotions, weekly
chapel services, school assemblies, and special programs.
Third, it is the focus for academic study. It is important for
pupils in the Christian school to be busy learning about the Bible,
its contents, and its message.
Weekly Chapels are held to which a variety of guest speakers are
1) To teach the Bible as the inspired, uncompromising Word of God
and the single authority by which man lives. (2 Timothy 3:16,17;
Titus 2:13-15; 2 Peter 1:21)
2) To present a Christian worldview by integrating life and subject
matter with the Bible. (Job 38:36; Isaiah 48:17; John 16:13; Romans
9:1; 1 Corinthians 1:30; Ephesians 1:18; Colossians 2:8)
3) To teach the application of Biblical principles to every part
of daily life. (James 1:22; 2:20)
